Yes. In terms of the all-inclusive package, I agree Hanna and Her Sisters is his best. However, Annie Hall is a very close second. What are your thoughts about Matchpoint?
for what it's worth, 'match point's' fantastic. i wasn't expecting it to be nearly as good as it was. i think it stands up to any of his more serious works in the eighties, and maybe even surpasses some of them.
it's been the one film - and i'm not trying to be snarky about this - it's the one film i've seen that i didn't wonder why scarlett johansenn had been cast: he makes her seem like a capable and talented actress in 'match point', not just eye candy, and that's no small feat, yo.
Patrick went to NYU film school and knows all the secrets of the Dharma. More of Pat's film writing can be found here and here.
Andrew and Ligature are a glamorous couple straight out of a Woody Allen flick.
Joaquin is a filmmaker, 9 to 5 cubicle fodder and a licensed joyologist.
Aaron is a media connoisseur, pop culture aficionado, and with his friend, "Madame," entertains children of all ages throughout Capitol Hill.
Chad works in film, and really likes 'Super Troopers.'
Dex broods day after day on his cunning plan to get a date with Natalie Portman. His past writing on politics, the environment, and life during the Age of Dubya may be found here.
Pike Bishop can milk a cow, dress a gunshot wound, and saddle a horse. He once punched a bear for sassin' him.
Amber will blind you with science and hit you with technology.

Serious question to all: the greatest Woody Allen film? Anyone?
i vote 'annie hall.' though 'everything you ever wanted to know about sex' has the best laughs.
Depends on what you want from it. Best comedy with serious undertones: Annie Hall
Best comedy with no serious undertones: Bananas
Best drama with no comedic undertones: Interiors
Best total package of serious and comic: Hannah And Her Sisters (In other words: for me, it's the greatest.)

I completely agree. What he does for Scarlett can also be said about Mr. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. WOOF!
